Tara Hodgens specializes in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, she maintains a private practice in Vista, CA. She currently provides clinical supervision and is an Associate Faculty member for the University of Phoenix.
With over a decade of experience as a clinician, and a graduate of San Diego State University specializing in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are parenting teens, depression/anxiety, women's issues, relationships, life transitions, and family of origin issues.
In addition, Tara has presented at national conferences such as “Race, Gender, and Information Technology: Closing the Digital Divide,” San Diego, CA.
Tara is a "down-to-earth", interactive, family therapist. Her treatment approach incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, such as Family Systems, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt and Psycho-dynamic modalities.
